A new song, and more site updates
I've made some pretty major changes to the site over the past few days, one of which is the use of mysql for the news posts... this allows the site to be more dynamic, and enables others to post updates to the front page.

There's also a new song available to the public, the Flooded Ruins Theme. This track will play in a portion of the Chozo Ruins, which will contain some... ah, interesting things.
You can listen to it on youtube here.

Hi hi! Kuro-chan here!

Been busy with everything in life, including my own problems, my website, and when I can, I work on this game project!

I thought I would pop in, say hi and remind everyone that this project is far from dead! We have a long way to go, but we have come so far as it is. We have no plans on giving up!

NCFC and Site Updates
It seems I got a bit behind on updating this site, but never fear, Metroid Remix is still alive and kicking! I have since changed the site a bit, adding many new screenshots and a whole new video page, which has all of the uploaded music tracks. Demo 2 has made major progress, but unfortunately is not ready when I had hoped it would be, which was by the start of this year's Nintendo Community Fangame Convention. NCFC is an online convention focused on Nintendo fangames, and lasts four days. It is a great opportunity for fangames to get exposure and new players.

Metroid Remix will still be entering the convention, and you can find further information about NCFC on their site, nintendocfc.com.

Oh and yeah, you've probably noticed the twitter feed to your right. I have been posting regular updates on the forums, and summaries about them on the Metroid Remix twitter. For live information about the game, you can follow it at @Metroid Remix.

Game Progress
So it's been a few months since the demo's been out, and the feedback on it has been interesting. For those who played it: a thank you!

While the site has been fairly quiet, the game has by no means been stopped. Progress was a bit slow for several weeks due to unforeseen circumstances, it has definitely picked up with the arrival of Summer. Currently we are working on the Norfair area of the game, along with expanding on the core engine.

In regards to that... I have a small video to help showcase some of the new engine features.

On another note, the game's music, made by Kuro, will eventually be made entirely available on youtube! You can view the currently released tracks below.
