Demo 1

This was the very first demo for Metroid Remix, released on May 2nd, 2011. It features the whole of Brinstar in an open ended style, having no real end except to acquire all the powerups and items.

Notes
Despite the best efforts of the development team, the first demo does contain a few glitches and quirks. The great majority of them have either already been addressed, or will be by the next release. Please do not report these problems - the demo is old and outdated compared to the current source.

Some of these issues, however, include various map errors, the inability to view the full map when paused, and several missing blocks underneath an acid room. Additionally, chozo launchers are NOT functional, and Ripper damage is a bit high in the demo, making it quite a challenge early on.
